About the Opportunity
eHealth NSW is seeking a skilled Endpoint Management Engineer to play a key role in our dynamic team. You will be central to the management, maintenance, and optimal performance of our core Endpoint Management platforms: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and Defender. These modern services are essential for the configuration, management, security, and protection of NSW Health's Smart Devices (Apple and Android) and Windows Workstations/Servers.
This role offers a clear pathway for direct impact and professional development within our Endpoint Management environment. By leveraging agile methodologies across diverse projects, you will actively contribute to shaping our platform, services, and product direction. Working alongside a high-performing team, you will directly influence customer satisfaction and contribute meaningfully to eHealth NSW's crucial goal of advancing patient care.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate on technology roadmaps: Work closely with senior engineers to review and contribute to the planning and implementation of Endpoint Management/Protection technology roadmaps, ensuring they meet customer needs and organisational goals.
- Strengthen our core platforms: Play a key role in the operational management, support, service improvement, automation, security, and protection of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and Defender products and their associated services.
- Support the evolution of endpoint management: Participate in the delivery of modern endpoint management consolidation and adoption activities, driving operational service improvements.
- Build a foundation of knowledge: Contribute to the development of clear technical and non-technical documentation, fostering clarity and transparency around all deliverables.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Research and maintain team expertise on emerging trends and technologies, contributing to the development of efficient modern management practices across eHealth NSW.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Manage and maintain endpoint environments: With a strong understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender Endpoint Protection frameworks.
- Dedicated to operational excellence: Possessing the skills to develop knowledge, guiding principles, and methodologies to ensure platform stability and provide exceptional support through active management and maintenance.
- Experienced in mobile device management: With a proven track record of managing Apple and Android devices on the Microsoft Intune platform.
- A proactive technical contributor: Taking initiative in product reviews and contributing to the development, service design, planning, and implementation of complex systems architecture, offering valuable technical guidance, and ensuring alignment with technology roadmaps.
- Build strong collaborative relationships: Establishing influential connections with stakeholders, customers, and colleagues to achieve team objectives.
