We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our Assertive Outreach and Intensive Case Management Team within headspace CAMHS. This role focuses on providing vital support to young people aged 12–25 experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges.

Our Services Include:

  • Professional Clinical Support: Tailored mental health services for young people and their families, addressing issues that may not be fully supported by headspace alone.
  • Evidence-Based Therapy: We provide individual therapy that is trauma-informed and recovery-focused, helping young people heal and build resilience.
  • Family and Carer Involvement: We ensure that families and carers are actively involved in assessments, care planning, and reviews to ensure holistic support.

Collaborative Care: We liaise with key agencies, participate in case conferences, and consult with other professionals to ensure the best care for each young person.


This position is graded for the following: 

  • Occupational Therapist Level 3 
  • Clinical Psychologist 
  • Senior Psychologist 
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 
  • Social Worker Level 3 
  • Welfare Officer Level 3 
  • Counsellor Level 3 
  • Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2 


An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions. 


About You

  • You have a unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • You have Postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
  • You have experience working with a range of community partners including General Practitioners and collaborative partnerships with Government Organisations and Community Managed Organisations.
