We are looking for a dedicated and talented professional to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, offering assertive outreach and comprehensive case management to children and young people aged 0-17 who are facing severe mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical services to children, young people, and their families/carers, helping to resolve mental health crises.
  • Deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused individual therapy tailored to the needs of young people.
  • Involve families and carers in assessments, care plans, and reviews to ensure holistic and comprehensive support.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of professionals and agencies, participating in case conferences and team meetings to ensure the best care outcomes.
  • Offer consultation and guidance to colleagues and external partners, supporting the management and care of young people in need.

  • Psychologist
  • Clinical Psychologist
  • Senior Psychologist
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
  • Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2
  • Social Worker Level 3
  • Welfare Officer Level 3
  • Counsellor Level 3

An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions.

About You

  • You have a unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • You have Postgraduate experience working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health service or Mental Health Service.
  • You meet the Essential Criteria with qualifications and APHRA registration if required. 
  • You will need to be available to work midday to 8:30 am Monday to Friday and 09:30-06:00 pm on a Saturday to Sunday. This is a rotating roster.
