Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Inpatient Services team. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the recovery and wellbeing of individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

 

About the Role

As part of the Mental Health Inpatient Occupational Therapy service, you will:

  • Provide a high-quality clinical service to clients, patients, consumers, and their families/carers.

  • Facilitate optimal health and functional outcomes through evidence-based, person-centred care.

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused interventions.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic programs tailored to individual and group needs.

About You 

  • You have current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board (AHPRA).
  • You have a current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to travel across sites within the CCLHD, a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is also required.
  • You have advanced clinical skills and experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a mental health setting conducting functional assessments and developing therapeutic care plans to address these needs.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including negiotation and conflict resolution skills.
