Selection criteria 

1. Extensive project management experience in the health industry including relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience. This includes broad knowledge of surgical practices and practical experience in working with clinicians with a demonstrated understanding of policies and system frameworks relevant to surgery and anaesthesia.
2.  Highly developed ability to work within and support multidisciplinary teams together with a proven capacity to communicate and negotiate change and improvement initiatives with senior clinicians and health system executives.
3.  Demonstrated experience to lead with attention to detail all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation.
4. High level system wide knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and directions of the NSW health system to improve health outcomes.
