  • Ability to support clinical networks in their use of the experiential evidence when developing clinical guidance and models of care.
  • Participate in multiple projects and activities with non-negotiable timeframes and requiring high quality outcomes and deliverables.
  • Keep up to date with current methods to generate experiential insights.

What you will be doing 

Support the ACI Evidence Directorate (Experiential Evidence) to gather and leverage the knowledge, experience and wisdom of health professionals and health consumers for health innovation in NSW.

Position Classification:   Health Manager Level 3

Remuneration:   $122,850 - $139,559 per annum excluding Superannuation
Hours Per Week:   40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

Selection Criteria / Questions  

  1. Tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline and experience working in health jurisdictions.
  2. Demonstrated experience in designing mixed-method consultations with health professionals and consumers, including data analysis (e.g., qualitative analytic approaches and descriptive statistics) and triangulation with other evidence sources.
  3. Demonstrated experience in leading consultations using deliberative methods (e.g., e-Delphi, roundtables, community juries and citizen panels).
  4. Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to research, analyse and interpret complex health information rapidly and accurately, and prepare and present analysis and reports.

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.  New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
