Selection Criteria:
  1. Extensive experience in workers compensation claims management, including progressing of weekly compensation benefits to injured workers, management of long term litigated claims with a sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in overall claims and injury management.
  2. Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying the principles of current and past workers compensation legislation and regulation including: (a) Workers Compensation Act 1987 (b) Workers Compensation Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 (c) Workers Compensation Regulation 2010 (d) Workers Compensation Amendments 2001, 2005 and 2012.
  3. Demonstrated effectiveness in providing expert technical advice and developing capability within the Workers Compensation team including coaching, training and mentoring.
  4. Experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment is a must, with a capacity to prioritise competing demands.
  5. Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Extensive experience in providing technical support for workers compensation matters.
  7. Demonstrated high level computing skills including proficiency in MS Office programs.
  8. Understanding of confidentiality issues pertaining to employee records and current NSW Drivers Licence.
