Remuneration: $56.68 - $58.52 per hour

Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
- Ensure the provision of the highest quality physiotherapy services to patients of WSLHD
- Responsible for applying advance reasoning skills and operating autonomously especially in dealing with patients and circumstances of a complex nature
- Responsible for contributing to the planning, implementation, evaluation, improvement & reporting of the physiotherapy service at the facility level

Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
- Registration: Current General Physiotherapy Registration under Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated post graduate experience in Aged Care and ability to complete a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and intervention of patients recovering from an acute illness or injury
- Demonstrated experience in staff clinical supervision including teaching of staff and students
- Demonstrated experience in the development of clinical physiotherapy policies and procedures and/or guidelines
- Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Effective time management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of Quality Improvement & Evidenced Based Practice
- A current NSW drivers licence and a willingness to travel between WSLHD sites and external sites as required.
