What you'll be doing
Join the Security Department team providing round-the-clock safety and support at Blacktown Hospital. Ensure the wellbeing of all and safeguard hospital assets. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Providing 24/7 security and protection for hospital precincts
- Ensuring safety of staff, patients, visitors and property
- Supporting crime prevention and risk minimisation efforts
- Delivering responsive, courteous customer service
- Writing clear, concise and accurate incident reports

Essential Criteria:
- NSW Security Licence 1A
- Current First Aid Certificate
Selection Criteria:
- Licensed according to the Security Industry Act 1997 Current NSW Security Licence Class 1A.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
- Demonstrate intermediate level computer operating skills e.g. through experience with contemporary electronic security alarm monitoring systems (Access building control, CCTV surveillance, data entry, and Radio communications).
- Customer service skills with a high degree of personal integrity and motivation and willingness and ability to carry out tasks of a physical nature as described in Job Demand List.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, follow directions and work without close supervision.
- Sound communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and report writing skills. Skills related to escalating a problem to the appropriate line of management.
