Essential Requirements:
Vaccination Category: A
Checks: Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling
Registration: eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership and relevant equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated high level skills, experience and use of high level professional judgement in providing advice and support to clinicians working with domestic and family violence and knowledge of health service delivery and referral options for these clients.
- High level knowledge and understanding of domestic and family violence policies and legal issues, including the issues for priority populations such as Aboriginal and CALD communities.
- Demonstrated capacity to work in partnership with key multidisciplinary and interagency stakeholders to provide a victim and child protection focused response to domestic violence.
- High-level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including interagency negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage without direct supervision or with some autonomy, a diverse range of tasks, work under pressure, manage projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Sound understanding of the NSW Health system, its demands and environment and expertise about a range of health services.
- Current Driver’s License valid in Australia
