What you'll be doing
The Radiation Therapist will provide accurate and precise radiation therapy, ensuring optimal patient care and service delivery in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities will be:
- Delivering precise radiation therapy in line with prescribed plans
- Ensuring patient safety and quality assurance in treatment delivery
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for efficient care
- Maintaining knowledge of new techniques and technologies in radiation therapy
- Actively engaging in research, education, and continuous improvement

Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: Graduate of a course in Medical Radiation Science-Radiation Therapy, accredited by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority,
- Registration: Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
- Licence: Eligible for EPA licensure by the Department of Environment and Climate Control NSW
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy, including Demonstrate excellent communication skills in written, oral and electronic formats
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls, including radiation safety measures in radiation therapy
- Demonstrated proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated interest in continuing professional development, research and quality improvement activities
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care
