Selection Criteria
- Must possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or equivalent as provided for in the Staff Specialists (State) Award. Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency
Must possess demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner including:
High level interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision.
Must demonstrate experience with research projects and be prepared to be involved in the research output of the department including providing assistance to other staff in their research endeavours.
Must have document managerial experience and be willing to provide managerial leave cover to HOD.
Must possess RANZCOG Certificate of Gynaecological Oncology (CGO).
Must possess broad experience across gynaecological oncology, including high level assessment, prioritisation and surgical skills as demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position
Must have a demonstrated experience in training and education of medical students, registrars & fellows
Must have a demonstrated experience in healthcare delivery systems
Must have demonstrated commitment and experience with research in gynaecological oncology
Working with Children Check
