Qualification: Qualification in Occupational Therapy
Registration: Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in working with adolescents, youth and their families/carers with emotional and behavioural issues using evidence based and family focussed treatments e.g.: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Family Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Attachment Based Interventions and other appropriate cognitive, behavioural and emotional models of intervention.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, initiate, manage complex cases, work to goals and targets for the adolescents, youth and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and with other service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for adolescents, youth and their families.
- Experience working in mental health and a knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
- A working knowledge of current Child Protection procedures.
- Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willing to use for work purposes.
