What you'll be doing
Be the driving force behind high-quality patient care and lead a dedicated nursing team. As the N/MUM, you’ll coordinate care, manage resources, and inspire excellence in a dynamic ward/unit setting.
- Leading and coordinating nursing care delivery
- Ensuring safe, high-standard patient care
- Managing ward/unit operations and budget
- Supporting staff development and collaboration

How to Apply
Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (NSW Registered Nurse – Division 1)
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in management and/or speciality, or working towards attainment in same, or extensive clinical experience in the field that demonstrates ability to perform the role.
- Recent relevant clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD.
- Demonstrated recent experience and understanding of financial management and accountabilities in relation to stock and effective budget utilisation.
- Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change that results in sustained improvements in patient care, throughput and resource utilisation.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
