What you'll be doing
The Medical Workforce Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of administrative support to medical staff working at BMDH Hospitals in conjunction with the units support staff and the JMO Manager.
 
The position will coordinate resources to manage matters pertaining to rosters, timesheet, pay enquiries and commencing and terminating medical appointments, whilst providing a professional and customer focused MWU.
 
This position will relieve the JMO Manager and supervise the MWU staff as required.  It will also provide guidance and support to the JMO Manager on the daily goings on of the Unit.
 
This position will interact with other MWU Coordinators and Managers at other facilities within the Western Sydney Local Health District.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Workforce recruitment processes, with the ability to interpret relevant legislation, policy, Awards, and agreements.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high volume and demanding environment with a proven capacity to organise and prioritise to meet deadlines.
  3. Ability to scrutinise information and make considered decisions based on the information available
  4. Demonstrated high level negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, utilising a cooperative approach to enhance processes to establish credibility and trust and form strong relationships with key business partners.
  5. Proven experience with generating and managing medical rosters.
  6. Demonstrated experience in the use of NSW health programs such as Stafflink, RUM and Health Roster, proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
  7. Demonstrated ability to initiate and successfully implement change management processes
