SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Possess Fellowship of the Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM) or equivalent as provided for in the Staff Specialist (State) Award
- Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Must have Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
- Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied or clinical research within the department.
- Sound clinical knowledge in the core scope of practice in Intensive Care Medicine demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
- Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a senior medical practitioner including: • High level interpersonal and communication skills. • Demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team. • Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice.
- Enthusiasm for organ and tissue donation with commitment to champion, educate and lead others to improve organ and tissue donation rates and outcomes
