Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical /Dental Practitioner including (CORE):
ยท High level interpersonal and communication skills.
ยท Demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team.
ยท Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice.
2. Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied or clinical research within the Department (CORE).
3. Commit to undertake clinical duties at both Blacktown and Westmead Hospitals according to the needs of the Radiation Oncology service for at least 60% of employed time.
4. Commit to undertake teaching of radiation oncology trainees, JMOs and allied health staff.
5. Agree to actively participate in quality assurance activities of the Department
6. Commit to undertake a quality improvement or research project agreed by the Staff specialist group and Director of Radiation Oncology
