Selection Criteria
1. Possesses registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) or equivalent as provided for in the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
2. Preferred applicants with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency, alternatively have an Australian working visa.
3. Basic clinical knowledge in Angiography/Interventional Radiology demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
4. High level interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
5. Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision of more junior trainees and medical students, and familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support clinical research within the Department.
6. Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence based best practice.
7. Demonstrates the skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Practitioner.
8. Basic clinical knowledge in Angiography/Interventional Radiology demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
