Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health or business discipline and /or relevant diverse experience in a management related field relevant to the position
  2. Demonstrated superior leadership and team management skills, particularly in managing staff and budgetary resources, to ensure provision of high-quality and patient centric services
  3. Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills. Demonstrated consulting and negotiation skills necessary to establish relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders with conflicting priorities
  4. Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop and implement sound and innovative strategies, policies, or strategic responses
  5. A broad knowledge of all aspects of health service environments including structures, policies, procedures, personnel and a substantial operating knowledge of government policies and procedures
  6. Sound knowledge and understanding of the principles, structures, and process of governance in the public sector context including experience of risk management frameworks.
  7. High level of stakeholder and significant experience in leading and/or managing Projects.
  8. Significant experience in implementing and/or leading Key Performance Indicator frameworks.
