What you'll be doing
In this role you’ll be delivering psychological care to renal patients across dialysis, transplant, and supportive care services, while leading quality improvement.
- Providing evidence-based psychological support
- Delivering individual and group therapies
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Contributing to service development and research
- Educating staff and supporting patient care plans

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
Selection Criteria:
- Theoretical knowledge of palliative care and renal conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide psychological assessment and deliver evidence- based psychological treatment for individuals, groups and families.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate group processes, identify and manage problems in relation to group dynamics and to promote and support team-based solutions.
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of the management of patient complaints and patient privacy
- Current driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD
