Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA)

Selection Criteria
- At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. In addition have an approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which he/she is appointed or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
- Demonstrated experience utilising knowledge and advanced nursing skills in the assessment, care planning and provision of safe clinical care for patients with needs related to vascular access.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability
- Proven excellent interpersonal and communication skills including demonstrated effective teaching skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient centred care and quality improvement through the use of evidence to evaluate care and implement change.
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position including evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
