Essential Criteria:

Qualification: Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Forensic Psychology.
Registration: General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Selection Criteria:

  1. Well-developed skills in assessment and formulation of complex presentations including psychometric and interview based assessment.
  2. Well-developed skills in the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based psychological behaviour management and psychological interventions for consumers with substance use and mental health issues.
  3. Well-developed skills in the development and facilitation of group therapy programs.
  4. An understanding of the principles and practices of health care delivery as they apply to the Drug and Alcohol field, including standard treatment approaches and broad concepts such as harm-minimisation.
  5. Well-developed skills in the development and management of research projects including data analysis and reporting results of research projects to appropriate publication standards.
  6. Good negotiation and communication skills.
  7. Demonstrated sound computer skills.
  8. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
