Vaccination Category: A High Risk
Checks: National Police Check and Working with Children Check
Qualification: Registered Nurse
Registration: Current enrolment with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Registered Nurse Division 1

Selection Criteria:
- Postgraduate qualification relevant to performing the role of a Child and Family Health Nurse, or currently enrolled in a tertiary course with completion date within 12 months of employment.
- Evidence of post registration experience working with families and young children; including those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Understanding of, and commitment to, evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated experience in assessment of the physical, social and emotional needs of children, and their families.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of population health and primary health care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology systems within a variety of applications and a commitment to undertaking training in electronic health record systems
- Demonstrate effective verbal, written communication and negotiation skills.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
