Selection Criteria
- The applicant must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency.
Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Possess Fellowship of the Australasian College Emergency Medicine (FACEM) and evidence of Continuing Medical Education and self-monitoring/audit practices that support credentialing to the position and are commensurate with the scope of practice requirements of the position.
Sound clinical knowledge in Emergency Medicine demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
High level interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence-based best practice.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision.
Demonstrates the skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner.
Working With Children Check
