Selection Criteria

• Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).

   

• Preferred applicants with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency, alternatively have an Australian working visa.

   

• Successful completion of the Part II RANZCR examinations, and completion of accredited training requirements.

   

• Basic clinical knowledge in Angiography/Interventional Radiology demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.

   

• High level interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

   

• Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision of more junior trainees and medical students, and familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support clinical research within the Department.

   

• Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence based best practice.

   

• Demonstrates the skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner
