Remuneration: $32.30 - $33.37 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
Join a supportive team at Blacktown Hospital providing vital admin support to Allied Health services. Gain valuable experience with potential for permanency. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Supporting patients, families, and carers with professionalism
  • Assisting allied health staff through timely data and systems
  • Coordinating appointments and manage patient waitlists
  • Delivering front-line reception and customer service
  • Contributing to efficient, person-centred care delivery

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience using patient database systems such as iPM or Cerner
  2. Demonstrated clerical or administration experience in a health, hospital or medical environment
  3. Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  4. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills working in a fast paced environment with competing demands
  5. Demonstrated experience in dealing with patients/customers and their families/carers
  6. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team environment
  7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  8. Familiar with NSW Health CORE values and applied experience in maintaining client confidentiality
