Essenital Criteria:
Evidence of Diversity claim: Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander
 
Selection Criteria:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures with established links to the local Aboriginal community in western Sydney.
  2. Holds at a minimum a Certificate III qualification in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or Aboriginal Family Health or other equivalent qualification in a health related field relevant to the role
  3. Demonstrated understanding of issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families and ability and / or experience in providing social support, linkage to services, group work, community education, and health promotion with the Aboriginal community
  4. Demonstrated ability to provide cultural brokerage with individuals, families who have young children and communities; cultural guidance for other members of the team; and to facilitate respectful and culturally safe access to services
  5. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  6. Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills and computer skills
