Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.  What you'll be doing
This is a senior position in Health Services Planning and Development with the purpose of providing high level advice and deliverables for a range of health service planning tasks and projects, including service and strategic plans

Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in health service or related area and/or professional experience in health service planning
  2. Demonstrated broad experience in health services
  3. Experience in planning of health services and/or health capital developments
  4. Understanding of NSW Ministry of Health policies particularly as relates to health service and capital development planning and evidence based models of care
  5. Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills including ability to effectively present and share information, and to produce complex reports, business cases and submissions in a timely manner
  6. Demonstrated high level negotiation and interpersonal skills including ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders such as senior management, clinicians, partner organisations, community members, consumers and non- government organisations; and to appropriately represent WSLHD’s interests and perspectives
  7. Demonstrated high-level analytical and project management skills including capability to extract, analyse and compile high quality data and information to support decision making and planning processes across LHD services and facilities
  8. Current NSW Drivers Licence C Class and be willing to use it for work purposes
