Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing


The purpose of this position is to provide high level leadership and support to the individual teams within Revenue regarding the WSLHD’s revenue maximisation strategy through the use of claiming, lodging, reviewing and collecting payments owed to WSLHD as a result of clinical services provided to patients.

Selection Criteria

  1. Relative tertiary and/or extensive experience in finance related discipline or experience in finance and revenue related roles.
  2. Proven performance in the management of improving revenue related outcomes specifically surrounding the clinical treatment of medicare ineligible, compensable and private patients.
  3. Sound knowledge of using programs such as iPM, Power Billing & Revenue Collection (PBRC), Powerchart, Oracle, HealthRoster, Stafflink and Microsoft programs.
  4. Excellent written and communication skills with experience in writing reports, negotiating and high-level correspondence on complex and sensitive issues.
  5. Experience in managing a dynamic and hard-working team and or relevant experience in working as part of a large team.
  6. Knowledge of MBS/AMA guidelines and Compensable billing.
  7. Drivers Licence
