What you'll be doing
Transthyretin amyloidosis causes significant morbidity and mortality, contributing to the burden of heart failure and neuropathy in Australia and worldwide. The Westmead Amyloidosis Centre is the primary referral centre for the diagnosis and management of amyloidosis in NSW.

The primary purpose of this position is to meet demands of multiple clinical trials that require IV infusion. it will provide options to allow patients to access newly developed study drugs, and potentially improve patient’s life expectancy and quality of life.

Selection Criteria

  1. Must have experience with IV cannulation, venepuncture and perform ECGs.
  2. Demonstrated superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Proven ability to deal with sensitive issues.
  4. Demonstrated effective time management, delegation and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  6. Proven experience in a role requiring attention to detail.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
