Essential Criteria:

Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, AHPRA, as a Registered Nurse Division 1.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, AHPRA, as a Registered Nurse Division 1
  2. Recent experience in the acute hospital setting and demonstrated excellent clinical skills in diabetes management
  3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively, independently and within a collaborative team environment, whilst prioritising and managing own workload
  4. Demonstrated effective communication with patients, nursing, medical and allied health clinicians
  5. Demonstrated ability to ensure patients, carers and families are well informed, engaged and confident about their care and treatment, within the scope of a registered nurse/midwife
  6. Demonstrated adult learning approach
  7. Demonstrated critical thinking ability, prioritisation and communication skills while effectively following directions
