What you'll be doing
The Operational Support Officer provides essential administrative and organisational support to the Director, Integration, Partnerships & Enablers within Integrated and Community Health. This pivotal role ensures effective operations across executive support, HR, finance, and governance. Responsibilities can include:
- Delivering high-level secretariat support for executive meetings and committees
- Preparing and manage key documents, correspondence, and internal communications
- Coordinating HR tasks including rosters, leave forms, and data entry in HealthRoster
- Processing financial requisitions via Oracle and maintain compliance with budget guidelines
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing administrative systems to improve efficiency and service quality

- Demonstrated comprehensive and successful experience in providing high level executive assistance and support to senior management including a proven capacity to operate effectively in a complex environment demanding confidentiality, flexibility and discernment
- Demonstrated organisational/time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, meet tight timeframes and manage competing demands
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality, to interpret complex information and advice and use discretion in knowing when to escalate matters of importance and/or urgency
- Demonstrated ability to project a professional image and establish credibility and trust with all staff and customers
- Advanced proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite of office products and ability to effectively utilise an electronic document management system such as HPE and rostering system such as HealthRoster
- Excellent, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to prepare and review complex correspondence within a senior management environment and advice to internal and external clients
