Occupational Therapy Assistant

Selection Criteria:

1. Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance/relevant qualification or willingness to undertake this training (includes willingness to undertake additional discipline competencies
2. Demonstrated previous experience working in a health related area and demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of a team
3. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders
4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload delegated by supervising Occupational Therapist, meet deadline and complete activities within scope of practice seeking assistance as required
5. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementation and evaluation of group activities
6. Demonstrated skills in sewing and producing adapted equipment and orthotics as requested by Occupational Therapists
7. Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications
8. Current NSW Drivers Licence
