- Supports primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare across Western Sydney.

What you'll be doing
The Nurse Manager provides strategic leadership and manages resources to ensure safe, high-quality care. This senior role requires collaboration across teams to drive service improvements and support professional growth.
- Oversees clinical and operational management of mental health services.
- Ensures efficient resource use, including human and fiscal resources.
- Provides guidance on nursing standards and patient care quality.
- Leads staff development, mentorship, and change management initiatives.
- Promotes a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Registered Nurse
Registration in line with Award requirements: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated management/education and leadership experience in the public sector including appropriate relevant post graduate qualifications, or extensive experience deemed appropriate by employer.
- Demonstrated leadership within the workplace including the ability to form productive working relationships through high level interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated high level project and change management skills and the ability to use diagnostic tools and interventions including information technology platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge of roster creation/management and human resource management skills, including the ability to manage daily staffing requirements, recruitment management experience, and knowledge of workforce systems within health.
- Demonstrated commitment to own professional development in areas relevant to health management and leadership.
- Current valid NSW drivers license and ability to travel between various sites for work purposes.
