What you'll be doing
Join our dynamic team as a Finance Business Partner Trainee supporting the financial operations of Western Sydney Local Health District. This is a development role offering growth and purpose.
In this role you will be:
- Providing finance support to operational services.
- Delivering accurate financial information.
- Assisting with business partnering functions.
- Supporting the Local Health District management decision-making.
- Building your finance career in a healthcare-focused environment.

Selection Criteria:
- Relevant qualification plus work experience within the Finance team of medium to large organisation OR extensive relevant health experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely to staff at various levels of an organisation.
- Self-motivated and demonstrate ability to learn the various components of Health Care and its financial structure and finance requirements.
- Aptitude to undertake analysis of complex financial and performance related data and to develop succinct interpretations of trends and issues arising from such an analysis.
- Experienced in using financial computer systems such as Oracle as well as high level computer skills in PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
- Experienced in time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both within a team environment and independently and to take direction.
