What you'll be doing
Join our team as a Dietitian Assistant and play a hands-on role in patient care, food services, and clinical nutrition support. Key responsibilities include to:
- Support at-risk patients with nutrition screening and meal choices
- Deliver simple diet education and monitor food intake
- Liaise with food services to ensure quality patient meals
- Receive clinical supervision and ongoing development
- Contribute to patient care plans and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Nutrition Qualification including: Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Nutrition and Dietetics) or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition Stream), or relevant University nutrition qualification.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding and application of provision of clinical support to the Clinical Dietitian.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of therapeutic diets.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of CBORD Diet Office program and its role in hospital nutrition provision.
- Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
