What you'll be doing
This dynamic role combines secretarial and administrative support for medical staff across Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals. It requires initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to manage complex tasks independently. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Supporting senior clinicians with varied secretarial duties
- Managing diaries, meetings, payroll, TESL, and bookings
- Coordinating teaching materials and presentations
- Providing cross-campus relief cover as needed
- Applying policies, procedures, and sound decision-making

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in providing secretarial and administrative support at a senior level.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent time management and advanced organisation skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of staff and the general public.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision as well as being an effective and efficient team member demonstrating initiative, judgement and analytic skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office, knowledge of medical terminology, drafting correspondence, minute taking and supporting meetings and committees.
- Knowledge of the functions and services associated with working in a hospital or health environment.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn computer packages such as HPEC, VMoney and iPM.
