What you'll be doing
The Clinical Product Nurse supports quality, safety, and cost-effective use of clinical products, ensuring contract compliance and efficient stock management across the district.
In this role you will:
- Oversee clinical product and consumable usage and purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with NSW Health procurement contracts.
- Promote fiscal responsibility and cost-efficiency.
- Support stock control through imprest system maintenance.
- Enhance patient care by optimising product availability and quality.

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
Selection Criteria:
- Current registration with the (APRHA) Nurses and Midwives Board of NSW (RN List A)
- Recent clinical management experience.
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of clinical products, equipment, and their safe application within a clinical environment.
- Strong analytical skills, proficient in interpreting information, and developing strategies for project development and ongoing management.
- Sound problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to resolve clinical product and equipment related matters to achieve a clinically focused solution
- Proven organisational skills, capable of prioritising competing demands and consistently meeting deadlines.
- Verbal and written communication and proven interpersonal skills in engaging and cultivating relationships with stakeholders to facilitate change management initiatives.
- Current Driver’s License valid within Australia.
