Remuneration: $109,684.57 - $113,243.15 per annum

Our Hospital in the Home (HITH) program offers a unique opportunity to support acute patients in their own home. This Clinical Nurse Educator position will play a pivotal role in providing quality education and training to staff working within Integrated and Community with a specific focus on the HITH Service. Ensuring HiTH staff have the skills, knowledge, and competence to provide quality care. Additionally, you will collaborate with clinical leadership to develop and implement evidence-based practices, support professional development, ensure compliance with mandatory training, and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient outcomes.

- Registration: Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in relevant specialty as deemed appropriate by WSLHD.
- Demonstrated recent experience in clinical teaching, delivery and evaluation of education programs and provision of support & guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and a strong commitment to the ongoing enhancement of clinical practice within a client/patient centred, multi-disciplinary clinical environment.
- Demonstrated effective and high-level communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolutions skills in addition to proven ability to motivate and engage people in the clinical setting.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
- Relevant computer skills including use of software programs to develop and deliver education and enter data.
- Current NSW Class C drivers license and willingness to use for work purposes.
