What you'll be doing

  • This is a full time CSO position that is responsible for providing support to the Chronic & Complex Community Nursing Teams across three community health centre's. Throughout the week this position will work out of the three community health centre's.
  • The AO3 role will support the work activities of Chronic and Complex Nursing and its service delivery needs & may provide AO3 functions across the service and/or clinics.
  • The AO3 will work closely with the NUM, Clinical NUM's, community nurses and existing administrative staff. The role will complement systems and processes.

Selection Criteria: 

  1. Hold or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
  2. Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheets, database software and corporate computer programs such as Proact, Oracle, COS (Complete Office Solutions) Stream, HPECM, Health Roster, CHOC Cerner, iPM.
  3. Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  4. Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure and high volume work environment.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with high interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with senior personnel, departmental managers, staff and clients.
  6. Experience in preparation of written communication such as reports, agendas and minutes.
  7. Previous experience in a health care setting.
  8. Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willingness to use for work purposes.
