- High level experience in managing large scale – district, system wide or other, change management projects that distil statewide priorities into effective, localised changes in service delivery.
- Proven experience in managing change with a number of complicating factors, including cultural, influencing without authority and the prioritising of competing projects.
- A proven understanding of the evidence to support sustainable system wide change and an ability to utilise the best of this evidence, either whole, blended or modified for the local context (within WNSWLHD examples would be: Major referral hospitals, district hospitals and multipurpose services).
- Demonstrated ability to lead successful multi-faceted projects, with a successful track record at a senior level in the development, implementation and evaluation of district wide solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and advising district executives, managers and clinicians while fostering a value based, customer focused work culture.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead the discussion with authority, motivate and negotiate at a range of levels and develop effective relationships.
- Proven capability to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change and improve performance.
- Current NSW drivers licence and ability to travel for work within the LHD and beyond for work including occasional overnight stay.
