  1. A bachelor degree in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Knowledge, skills and experience to meet the requirements of the NSW Health Professionals Award Level 2. With  a Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
  2. Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  3. Extensive specialist or broad generalist knowledge, clinical proficiency and ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/ caseload.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
  6. Demonstrated ability to lead planning and evaluation of team activities.
  7. Demonstrated ability to provide and coordinate staff and student supervision.
  8. Experience and advanced practice skills in assessment, counselling and case management, and demonstrated knowledge of the complex psychosocial issues associated with a cancer diagnosis.
