About the role
An exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join our world class Cancer Centre to help create positive change in the lives of Cancer patients and their loved ones.
The Senior Psycho-Oncology Counsellor will join an established team of skilled Social Workers and be able to extend their practice across all areas of Social Work in Oncology.
The role of a Senior Social Worker in a hospital setting is unique and provides an amazing opportunity to experience all facets of social work. Senior Social Workers will, undertake psychosocial assessments and provide a range of therapeutic interventions. You will be provided with an ‘orientation buddy’ have access to professional development and supported to engage in meaningful clinical supervision.
