About the role
Mental Health Emergency Care is a 24-hour, 7 day week service and we’re looking for permanent full and part-time Registered Nurse’s who wish to work either morning, day, evening or night shifts. We’ve also advertised for casual staff, should that appeal to you instead.
As a Registered Nurse in Mental Health, we’d be very keen to hear from you if you’re looking to:

You’ll be fully supported, with a broad range of professional training and opportunities, a workplace that genuinely promotes work life balance and well-developed rosters to best manage fatigue as well as your own circumstances. We are flexible enough we can accommodate staff who can work specific shifts during the week and weekends, working with a fantastic, dedicated, and supportive acute multi-disciplinary team with full-time psychiatry registrar and psychiatrist support.
No two shifts are the same; you might find yourself attending professional development, providing virtual/telephone triage for the 1800 Mental Health line, or completing acute mental health assessments and interventions to any of our 44 health facilities across the local health district. Working closely with other services, you’ll also have access to excellent training opportunities from other stakeholders.
We’re also looking to the future with Police, Ambulance Clinician Early Response
