Registered Nurse – Medical Imaging (Interventional)
Orange Health Service
About the role
Are you a nurse looking to try something new? Do you need a break from night shift? We are looking for a friendly, motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our diverse multidisciplinary team in Orange Medical Imaging.
As an interventional (IR) nurse, you’ll have the opportunity to help patients at multiple stages of their care journey, from initial diagnosis to life saving intervention.
IR nurses work across recovery, scrub & scout, and outpatient roles with a diverse case mix including hepatobiliary, urological, gastrointestinal, renal, lung, oncological, vascular, and pain management interventional procedures.
The Medical Imaging Department (MID) at Orange Health Service provides routine and emergency service to hospital inpatients as well as outpatients from the local and surrounding communities.
Our MID is part of the Western NSW LHD wide medical imaging business unit (MIBU), which allows for effective streamlining and sharing of resources. The MIBU deploys a central radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving and communication system (PACS) across the district.
