About the role
As an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) you will join a dynamic team managing critically ill patients in a level 4 ICU servicing the Bathurst Regions and surrounds.

Bathurst Hospital is located 3 hours west of Sydney over the Blue Mountains. It is a University City, has good transport services throughout the city, buses, trains and airplanes with regular connections to Sydney then interstate. Large sporting complexes, great restaurants, recreational activities and facilities.
The Intensive Care Unit is a 7 bed, level 4 unit including Coronary Care. It has an Intensivist and 24/7 registrar cover. The Unit has the capacity to ventilate up to 2 patients and can also do renal replacement (CRRT). A Multidisciplinary team is involved in all patient care.
The hospital has an Emergency Department, Level 4 Maternity services, Paediatric services, 15 bed Surgical Ward, Rehabilitation Unit onsite, TACP beds, large inpatient and outpatient Allied Health support and expanding Ambulatory Care and HITH services.
Educational support is available to staff, and there is an enthusiastic and supportive team on the ward. There is access to online and face to face learning with the Australian College of Nursing with educational opportunities to advance your skills and knowledge
