To apply for this position, please address the following Selection Criteria

  1. Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
  2. Post Graduate qualifications in the provision of contemporary Child and Family Nursing practice mandatory with the authority to immunise (Immunisation accreditation may be completed within 6 months of commencement by negotiation).
  3. Demonstrated ability to practice in accordance with the Registered Nurse Standards of Practice, Child and Family Nursing Clinical Practice & Competency Standards, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
  4. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
  5. An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply in practice the Supporting Families Early, NSW Breastfeeding Policies and the Child and Family Nursing Professional Practice Framework including a commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care.
  8. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.
