About the role          
You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary maternity team providing woman centred care that is focused on individual needs, expectations and aspirations to achieve optimal pregnancy outcomes for the woman and her family. With a modern, state of the art Maternity Units, Western NSW Local Health District are seeking experienced midwives to enhance their growing team.

Our single aim is to provide a service to build healthier rural people and thriving communities, and our midwives play a crucial role in achieving this goal. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a broad range of people across varied socio-economic backgrounds and diverse ethnicities and experience a range of models of care. You will work in a modern facility supporting women and their pregnancies, where you can really make a difference to their lives.

Parkes has a population of approx. 10,000 and is 100kms from Orange and 115kms from Dubbo. Parkes offers country living in a friendly town with all the services and amenities you need.
