- A relevant degree in Social Work, Social Science, Social Welfare or relevant degree in Psychology with eligibility for membership of a recognised Professional Association in addition to evidence of meeting NSW Health Services Health Professionals (State) Award. • Social Work (SW Level ): A Bachelor degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers and knowledge, skills and experience to meet the requirements of the NSW Health Professionals Award Level 2. • Welfare Officer or Counsellor (Level ): A Bachelor degree in Social Science , Social Welfare, Counselling or a related field and knowledge, skills and experience to meet the requirements of the NSW Health Professionals Award Level 2.
- Demonstrated highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to take a leadership role in developing and maintaining a strong geographically dispersed multidisciplinary team, a NSW Driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/caseload and facilitate this in team members.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully complete quality improvements projects and lead implementation of evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated ability in managing team resources effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to lead teams working with children, young people and adults who have experienced violence and/or abuse.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to develop and implement innovative solutions.
