About the role
This position provides an exciting opportunity for Occupational Therapists committed to working in Community Health and Older Persons.
The Bathurst Older Persons Mental Health (OPMH) team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, Occupational Therapy and Psychiatry backgrounds, with support from dietetics and other allied health disciplines.
The team prides itself on working collaboratively and together, we maintain an excellent workplace culture of support and flexibility, while ensuring a high level of clinical care is provided.
The successful applicant will work closely with the team leader, the clinical leader, and the wider team. They will be also linked in with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.
The successful applicant will engage in robust clinical and operational orientation to the role, including the development and implementation of an individualised professional development pathway. This plan will include the core skills required to undertake the role and the persons own developmental interests in OPMH.
